Royal Engineers Office Houghing 20th May 1886.

Not having been at this station at the time of the perambulation of 1865, I have referred the letter of the Colonial Secretary No 315 dated 25th May 1886 to Mr. Laffan, Clerk of Works in this Department who with sundry officers of the Royal Engineers has made successive perambulations of the Military Department property.

And I now forward Mr. Laffan's report for the information of the Assistant Military Secretary, Houghing.
